Why does my computer crashes and comes up in blue screen?

I’m guessing you have Windows XP on your machine, it could be a hard disk error…

As long as you make sure your virtual memory is configured properly, so your disk is used for extra memory, the unzip should work.
No harm in trying a different ZIP program (you can also try WinRar, which has a 30 day eval).
